With Subaru Dynamic Chassis Control Concept (DC³), all the components of the Subaru XV are designed to work in harmony—bringing the crossover closer than ever to handling perfection. It employs high-tensile steel in critical areas to achieve high strength with light weight. The highly rigid body structure delivers accurate and direct steering feel whilst allowing the engine and suspension vibrations/movement to be effectively isolated from the cabin. This brings together everything that makes driving a pleasure: confidence, comfort, sportiness, safety—all in sublime balance.

Front Suspension

Blending sporty handling with a comfortable ride, the SUBARU XV’s suspension is fine-tuned with the hope to provide everyday enjoyment. In the front, the rigid struts enhance responsiveness and help give the steering an accurate and connected feel. A thicker front stabilizer bar helps achieve flatter cornering and better control for a more confident and linear feel.

Rear Suspension

The refined rear suspension will provoke your passion for driving. The taut double-wishbone rear suspension helps to handle rough roads and sharp corners with poise and precision, and gives you the response you want for an enjoyable ride. Pillow ball bushings work to achieve better traction and a more intimate connection to the road.

SUBARU DYNAMIC CHASSIS CONTROL CONCEPT

All components of the all-new Subaru XV cooperate harmoniously in the Subaru Dynamic Chassis Control Concept (DC3) – so that they give the compact SUV an almost perfect handling. In high wear areas high-strength steel is used in order to achieve a high torsional stiffness with low weight. The highly rigid body structure allows precise and direct steering feel.
